Gutted but hope we can keep the form going......the system seems to suit the defense and the midfield is solid as well. Lucas and Henderson is great. When Sturridge comes back it will be interesting to see if Brendan changes the system. I suspect not but sterling will drop deeper and maybe to the left with probably Gerrard dropping out.....
I hope Origi turns out to be good because we need strikers right now
Yeah i was screaming for Lallana to come on. When Ramires came on, they were more aggressive and competitive in midfield. Lallana for Stevie would've kept us in control and on the front foot.
We do need a quality striker though so badly to back up Sturridge.

That's the worry, three strikers on the books borini, lambert and ballotelli..about £30m spent on the three of them and none of them contribute anything. Clearly desperate for a striker, pinning all our hopes on Sturridge which is madness.Originally posted by Leyton388 View PostWhoever at the club thought Ballotelli was an adequate replacement for Suarez should be sacked. We've gone from the most potent strikers in the league to the most impotent. We need a striker in this month so FSG need to pull their fingers out.
It's all well and good saying "Wait until Sturridge is back" but we shouldn't have been in this position in the first place. Everyone at the club knew he was injury prone.
I'm absolutely gutted but proud of that display. Rodgers has turned it around and fair play. FSG need to help him out.
Frustrating that we haven't done anything to rectify it, either because we can't afford to, or FSG have said you've got to sell those cunts first it doesn't matter.i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Don't get me wrong I've had the odd issue - I went head to head with some Manc cunt who started on me in 2003. Bayer Leverkusen CL game when Ged took Hamann off, I was going potty in the pub and riled some Manc pricks. Then I got Sky at home and never watched another one in a pub for over a decade, until this season after the collapse of my marriage sort of forced my handOriginally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostI'd be dead by now.

We've come a long way in the last couple of months. Looking more like last season's team but hobbled by our striker situation. We're Sturridge's return away from being great, which is why I'm disappointed we've not managed to offload a striker and bring a striker in this window.
Can't help but daydream about where we'd be now if we'd managed to land Sanchez. Balls.
Still, at least Benzema and La Cassette are on their way.

unreal....I had fight the same night, in Uni in Stoke with of all people a ****ing tranmere fan.
We scored, was it litmanen? I jumped up going mental....without realising I spilt about a third of a pint over some lad in front of me in a tranmere shirt who was cheering for Leverkusen the prick...
I didn't know. But he didn't realise all the people behind me knew me, so whilst I wasn't looking he apparently poured a full pint all over my coat and chair.
Full time came, he was straight out the door with me going screaming after him.....
It goes on....
Amazingly a week or two later, I'm playing footy for my team....guess who is captain for the opposition this tranmere cunt.....i play a blinder and scored a hat trick
beat them 5-1

It'd take the colllapse of my marriage for me to be able to watch it at home.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostDon't get me wrong I've had the odd issue - I went head to head with some Manc cunt who started on me in 2003. Had the slightly surreal sight tonight of two neighbours in a village pub in Gloucestershire squaring up to each other over the game. The Liverpool fan was in Kenny's 7 shirt but looked the spit of Neil Morrissey which was a little disconcerting.

I wish I lived near a village pub in Gloucestershire.

We're always going to struggle until we get Sturridge fit or buy a striker. We didn't deserve to lose, but we didn't deserve to win either! I think we were the better side over the two legs, but Chelsea took their chance. Massively disappointing result tonight, can't complain too much. Costa is a disgrace and Balotelli is ****.

yeah agree. We gave it everything and played well but when it came down to it Chelsea just had a bit more in the tank, where as we lacked a cutting edge
