Might not mean anything to either of you two, but not playing Gerrard against Everton when he's fit and wants to play seems ****ing mental to me

But even if there are better options ahead of him, to deny him this last derby would be utter bollocks; "Support The Team" soundbites or not

You sound wound up, don't take this so seriously, it's bad for your health.

I'd definitely start Gerrard, my team:

        Mignolet
        Can - Skrtel - Sakho
        Markovic - Henderson - Lucas - Moreno
        Gerrard - Sterling - Coutinho

With the aim of giving Sturridge and Ibe about half an hour.

It's a good sign that 95% of us would pick the same 10 players with a debate over Gerrard/Lallana in behind or Sturridge starting and Sterling from deeper.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

            I would like to see:

            ---------------------MIGNOLET----------------------

            -------EMRE CAN-----SKRTEL------SAKHO----------

            MARKOVIC--HENDERSON----LUCAS------MORENO

            ------------COUTINHO----------------STERLING----

            --------------------STURRIDGE----------------------

If sturridge isnt fit to start, then stick Gerrard in there and move Sterling to the top.

I wouldnt have Lallana anywhere near the team

He's a goal threat. We are likely to start without a recognized striker - it seems the sensible option to me too.

I have to admit, Gerrard probably should start in Lallana's place as part of a front three. He carries more of a threat and Lallana is still finding his form again. Consider my opinion changed.

Probably our strongest team at the moment.

Actually it's definitely our strongest team at the moment.

If and its a big if Sturridge is ready to start you'd move Gerrard out for him but I can't imagine he's quite ready yet so I'd be happy to see that.

My main concern is (IMO) Gerrard doesn't bring the best out of Lucas and Henderson. He drops deep, demands the ball and the players give it to him. Our game seems to revolve around Gerrard. He's a legend - so it's understandable.

However, I'm not going to argue with you (especially over Gerrard) - if he plays (and I suspect he will) I hope he has a stormer and scores a couple of goals. As long as the team wins - that's the most important thing.

Nothing wrong with a bit of man love
                          Another MASSIVE game

Of course he'll start, He's still got the magic, his last Derby he'll be up for this more than ever before.

He'll lead the charge against them with his lucozade power running and with us well in control come off with 20mins to go to rapturous appaluse from us and polite applause from the bitters (ok that last bit might not happen)

                              As it should be.

Not to mention the team will be up for it as well to give Gerrard the best sending off. It's almost counterproductive not to use the power of sentiment here.
