      This is funny

Did Roberto Martinez speak about the horrible rumour I have heard about a guard of honour for their captain at the derby? Surely to Christ that is a wind up.

I'm in Dublin so will be in the boozer for this but if our lads do that before this game; I'll walk out. That would be a ****ing disgrace.

Send him off with whatever after we've spanked them.

Most logical conclusion so that won't happen

I just don't see Gerrards form as being the reason we can win or lose this one, if everyone plays up, we'll win regardless, because we are better.

For us to lose this, something very out of the ordinary needs to happen, like Everton playing well and us being dog ****e! (while i appreciate that's possible, i don't see Gerrard as being the reason for it, the Gods would need to intervene.)
I think Gerrard playing can have a huge impact either way. If he's in form or off form he's the kind of guy that demands the ball & what he does with it can affect our chances of success. Hopefully after the match we'll be singing his praises.

I'd put Manquillo in and move Markovic up alongside Sterling and Coutinho. Kill them on the break.with Moreno breaking too.

I'm very confident for this one, I think we'll win comfortably. I'd give Markovic a rest too and play Ibe. Agree on starting Sturridge. I wouldn't just yet.

Start Sturridge against Tottenham and rest Gerrard for that one would be my choice.

I'd like to see Ibe come on in the second half to be honest. I think Gerrard can start this one and throw Manquillo on the right.

Wouldn't start Ibe just yet, especially in a derby.
