I'm waiting for those inter continental aero planes to be invented that are suppose to go into orbit and drop back down. I remember reading about it years ago and still waiting. Can cut time from USA or UK to Australia to just a few hours I think.

I don't find the travel an issue at all. I nearly always break up the trip with an Asian stopover. Been to Thailand, Hong kong & Singapore together with Zurich to make the trip more bearable. And Oz isn't so far from everywhere a long way from Europe & the East coast of the U.S. granted but Asia is on our doorstep. Should do it mate. You'll love it.

I lived in Asia for 5 years but it was still a 10+ hour flight! Asia is a big continent lol, SE Asia is close to Australia granted but still a long way from where you all live! I was in Korea and Qingdao (north China).

I wish I'd gone then but the distance put me off. Went to Thailand a few times and all the other SE Asian countries.

I can't see any justification for playing Gerrard. The team always looks worse when he plays.

It's a shame, but he no longer justifies a starting position in the team. We've been playing well without him and really need to push on now to try to get into the top four.

A tough away derby match is no place to be giving Gerrard a run out. Bring him on as a sub by all means if we're winning comfortably, but don't start him. He'll be the weak link in midfield.

I hope I'm wrong but if he plays we'll do well to get a point. The lad's finished

I think that's a bit harsh. He can still bring a lot to the table, especially in a derby.

For me the issue is more about where he plays. If he plays in an attacking position for 60 minutes he can contribute. If he plays a defensive midfield position alongside Lukas then I would agree that weakens the team.

10 hrs is nothing. Easy done mate. Sounds like you had a good life over there.

The stick he'd cop off the inbreds at their place would mess with his head IMO if he started on the bench. It could fire him up or it could screw him up for when he came on. Start him or leave him out but don't start him on the bench.

The bluenoses I know are massively delusional and do not hold a balanced view point and spout bias drivel continuously. So much so that I have to block them from being able to contact me for the whole weekend.
