I think Skrtel made the move to block an anticipated shot.,.....its damned if you do, damned if you dont. If the player who was just allowed to run into our box got the shot off we'd be slating the CB for not closing down.
In this case, it was a fantastic pass that unlocked the defence...... Great run by Dzeko, but Can lost the man and could see across the play so should be far more in tune with the move.
It was a good goal though.....sometimes you just need to hold your hand up.
