With Lucas available we can win this. That All Star Game may have helped a lot for this.

Quietly confident. And praying. Arsenal losing this one won't cause them to lose much sleep.

I'm not sure about that - if they lose to us we'll be three points behind them and they've got Chelsea and Utd to come.

This has the feel of a must-win about it for us though. Lose and we'll more than likely be 8 points behind 4th with 7 to play...

Hope to **** we win this game.....but i cant see it to be honest. Arsenal always seem to beat us in london and we take them then at anfield. Its just the way it works out.....

I have the feeling that we will be the better team for 70 mins and score one goal....and that they will be the better team for 20 mins and get 2 or 3......

Arsenal v Liverpool FC: Vital statistics and facts ahead of Emirates clash

Liverpool have won 16 Premier League meetings with Arsenal winning 14 and 15 draws.

In all competitions Liverpool have won one of the last 18 meetings with Arsenal in the capital, while their record at the Emirates is one win, 5 draws and 5 defeats.

The Reds have scored in 12 of the last 15 visits in all competitions.

Nine hat-tricks have been scored by Liverpool in league games against the Gunners with each of the last 4 and 8 in total coming at Anfield - the last from Peter Crouch in March 2007 in a 4-1 win.

The Reds biggest Premier League win at Arsenal is their last - a 2-0 victory in August 2011 with an own goal from Aaron Ramsey and a strike from substitute Luis Suarez. That is the only occasion in more than 30 years that Liverpool have won at Arsenal by more than one goal.

Liverpool have now gone 559 minutes without conceding a Premier League goal away from home since Robin van Persie scored for Manchester United at Old Trafford on December 14. Since then, the Reds have kept 6 league clean sheets in succession on the road and if they shut Arsenal out they will set a new club record of 7.

In the last 2 seasons under Rodgers Liverpool have averaged 2.2 points from their final 8 games of the campaign.

Only Everton have prevented Liverpool from scoring in the last 14 league games.

Arsene Wenger has won 12 of 36 league meetings against Liverpool since taking over in 1996, losing 11.

The Gunners have lost 2 of the last 15 Premier League meetings.

Along with Manchester United, Arsenal have scored more goals at home this season in the Premier League than any other team (33).

Alexis Sanchez has scored one goal in his last 12 appearances.

The only Liverpool hat-trick at Arsenal was scored by Gordon Hodgson in October 1928 in a 4-4 draw.

Abou Diaby for the winner in stoppage time after we batter them for 90mins!

Looks good. Only change I'd make is to put Hendo in the middle with Lucas, and put Markovic in for Allen at wing back. He was playing reasonably well there before Ibe took his place, once Ibe was injured I thought he'd slot straight back in...

We really need a proper RM if we're going to continue with the above formation next season.
Henderson and Sterling (if he's still here) are wasted there. Doubt we'll get the best out of Markovic there either.

Your suggestion is far more likely I'd just bulk our midfield up a bit, and hope the front 3 can nick us a goal.
