Am happy with that starting XI.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

I'm guessing it's Markovitch RWB with a Lucas - Hendo - Allen - Cout diamond. Trying to match Arsenal's strength through the middle but obviously vulnerable outside as Man U (and everyone else now) has spotted.

Even taking the United game into account, we are on a really good run of points winning form right now and the loss may well be just a blip.

All fair points mate but I'm struggling to get into a positive frame of mind - the Sterling saga hasn't made me feel any better about football either

I hope Markovic will have a go as I feel he has a lot more to offer, it's just his confidence holding him back.

Good team, looks like we might try and match what Monaco did on the counter there, but we usually get about 400 stonewall pens turned down here so not too optimistic.

Don't worry lads, I put Arsenal in an accumulator - the sole reason of course was to make sure we don't get beat and to have a small consolation if we do. All the other teams won yesterday, need Arsenal for a win. So we won't lose.

The team just looks average at best.

Is balo injured or just guaranteed to be sold in the summer?

I get that. The loss followed by all the waffle and BS over Sterling could certainly sap one's enthusiasm for any game that followed, even more so when it is a very tough away game.

But our run in the league since the turn of the year has been a good one, and if we look at the previous pair of seasons our best runs of form came in the second half of the season as well so we have form for finishing strong.

Are Arsenal tough to beat at their place? Yep

Is it a ground that we have not done too well at? Yep

But are they a team that we could put to the sword if we play well? Yes they are.

Do they have weaknesses in their team? Again it is a yes.

And for those who like to clutch at straws, check out our form when it comes to early kick off games in recent seasons, including one against the lot we are facing today.
