Top of summer wishlist is a truly class player in any position we can get them, because in reality we don't have any. Suarez gone, Gerrard good as, Sturridge perennially injured. The rest are boys with talent that blow hot and cold.

Joe Allen on that first goal is odd. Hold your ground, Sakho is providing the cover for Moreno's mistake.

We needed to score when we had that pressure period. But as usual we didn't.

Who was going to score though? We don't have many goalscorers in the team, with Sturridge on the bench there is only Sterling but his finishing is really poor.

This is it, our season hinges on today by all accounts and we are 3 ****ing goals down at HT! And it could easily have been 5 or 6! I think we are quite restrained actually!

Come on Tee lad, in October we were well out of it and had a great run until the last 2 Games. In October id have taken 5th and the team needed time due to so many players being added to the squad.
We are work in progress and have proved what they can produce we just need to learn to do it more consistently. It will come.

Then I'll start moaning about how Brendan's record is bolstered by being a flat track bully and against the top sides and in Europe he's coming up terribly short, which will then segue into wanting Rafa back after the nostalgia of seeing the 08/09 players back at Anfield last week.

This is why I think Lallana should play more. One of the few we have who can finish.

Heads need to roll in the summer for the complete shambles we have become compared to last season. Piss poor management from top to bottom. Last season we took 2 steps forward but this season 5 steps back.

Markovoic should have taken the shot. Its all about being clinical and taking responsibility. You pass when you are already coasting or trying to hand a desperately out of form player one on a plate. That was the chance to earn his place, grab the glory.
