Dreadful performance and we got exactly what we deserved.

Yet another game in which Gerrard in the team, with other players shunted around to accommodate him, resulted in a very poor performance. It was a carbon copy of those games earlier in the season where we capitulated week in, week out, but the manager couldn't see it and kept Gerrard in at all costs to the detriment of the team.

At least we haven't got all the circus around his last game for the club on his birthday etc., etc to endure

Wouldn't it be nice if LFC was bought up by some mega-rich oil baron, we got in a proven manager, and we all sold out for a lifetime of trophies and league wins...

When I think about it, it just seems like each success would feel like it wasn't real.

          Villa controlled us.

This team finished 2nd last year playing some of the best football I've ever watched from a Liverpool side.

I hold serious reservations about Rodgers I really do, he's proven nothing without one of the best players in the world leading the line without European football to contend with.

We're in April and not only do we not know our best XI we don't even know which formation we should be playing, its been totally mismanaged from all involved it seems.

Villa threatened more, looked more solid at the back and bossed midfield we can't take anything from that game, yes the goal was onside but we didn't deserve to be level we created nothing.

Not sure where we go from here to be honest.

True, but Moreno is so **** he makes Dossena look like Roberto Carlos. Rodgers has failed every big test. He must go, simple as that, too late for redemption

I feel bad saying it tbh, BR has done some good things, but every time at the crucial end of comps and seasons we've fallen short, even with Suarez and Sturridge in epic form.
But probably not serious contenders to get him unfortunately.

I like Rodgers I really do, and I wouldn't just sack him without thought.

But if Klopp was an option, and I mean a realistic option, Id be all over it.

He isn't though. Better teams will want him.

Yeah Rodgers has just made too many mistakes this season. Was in the Rodgers camp but the capitulation really has me wondering if we needs a more experienced guy in there.

Ian Rush in his prime would struggle to get ten a season the way we play. We create nothing. Its all stuck in the middle. All too clever. Get the **** out wide and stretch the pitch and get good quality crosses in. Not rocket science just unfashionable these days.

Henderson is a right useless uninspiring cunt at times. He goes missing and passes the buck.

Not usually one to react after a poor defeat but as much as I like Rodgers, if Klopp shows any hint of being up for the job. I'd bring him in no questions asked.

                        I feel sad writing that.

Just go all out for Klopp. If FSG stick with Rodgers they can **** off as well.
