I'd have played either Peltier or Carragher at right back and pushed Finnan up to replace Pennant.

And I'd have preferred Crouch to Bellamy.

Granted but you have to take the quality of the opposition into account. Against Boro we have held our own but the comical defending would have been punished by better sides. As Niall says Boro are ****e and we should be winning with ease. The fact that their keeper has only had to scramble once to make a save says a lot.

Very fed up with this kind of performance.

We aren't going all out for the win against a side who are playing extremely negative at home.

It was the same against Sheffield United, we didn't take the game to them, they hung around and it cost us.

I want to see some ****ing intent in the second half. Just pretend it's Anfield.

The players can do better, but this is on Rafa. Defend further up the pitch and put some real pressure on.

This isn't an easy place to get a result as we've seen in recent seasons. Yes we do have a better team on paper but going to Boro is like going to the Reebok.

I agree with you Ron, I think if we went a goal ahead it would encourage a very different attitude amongst the players. There are times when I watch us play, and it seems that we are trying hard not to lose, rather than trying hard to win.
