probably most/all of the big earners that were moved on might have been more experience senior players but they were not cutting it on the pitch.

its fine bringing in the likes of markovic and ibe but when it starts getting messy who are the ones who will hold the line. no beef, no balls, no men amongst them.

in a good side henderson would be ok, but to have everyone else look to him is asking too much. allen does play some good football occasionally and probably looks like zidane in training, but is far too feeble. skrtel is probably the main man, but he isnt going to influence the game as much as a driving midfielder or attacker.
