I don't think it was a poor performance. It was much improved, but again we failed to capitalise on our position by securing the three points earlier. Lambert's performance shouldn't go unnoticed; It wasn't perfect, but it highlights the importance of a selfless striker running the channels. dropping deep and retaining the ball as a focal point to our attack. It means the buzz and skill going off behind doesn't get wasted.

Anyway, it's hard to go from dour to great (in terms of performance) - it needs confidence and momentum.
