    Our wide positions

    are filled with absolute ****.

Finnan, riise pennant & gonzalez are ****ing awful. No attacking threat whatsoever.

Without doubt these four positions are the reason as to why we ae such a bad footballing team.

No not really. I can see he's trying - but he has put zero decent crosses in and hasn't taken the fullback on yet.

It all depends what you want from your wide men - and I want more than speedy is showing.

Why did Rafa switch them half way through the half?

              What purpose did that serve?

Pennant really is a joke. Oh dear.

Well at the present time he is a damn sight better than Pennant and he is our best player today so he gets the thumbs up from me.

Dont start me on pennany Al........ I'll be here all night.

I can see what you're saying about speedy Al - but he's given the forwards no service whatsoever and has squandered possession around the box with a few optimistic shots. He can do better - I know coz I've seen him do it.

Gonzo's decent cross count remained at a steady .........zero.

And what the **** is this short corner routine all about? Get the ****ing thing in the ****ing box and get your ****ing head on it!!!!!!*

Gonzales was at least involved but what did he deliver? Zilch. The sort of deceiving performance that can kid people through mere involvement.

But how did he get taken off and Pennant stay on the field.

I find it absurd to the point of comical that we dithered and scrimped over Figo and gave 7 million for this utter waster who has never done anything of note in his career except to get himself sent to chokey.

An abysmal transfer decision by Benitez I'm afraid. And at a fee that defies understanding.

Ultimately, if you bring in ****e, expect to get a ****e team.

Of our 4 attacking players today, 3 of them are nowhere near good enough.

I'm sick and tired of LFC having a team of outfield players where 3 in 10 at least are nowhere near good enough to wear the shirt. Its been going on for too long and it won't end until our managers start being wiser in the transfer market. Its as blunt and simple as that.

Gonzales was awful today. He can't cross to save his life and he is way off premiership pace, physically and mentally.
But you are right, he was better than Pennant.

Whilst we were dominant in the second half - Riise and Finnan should have been more prominent also. Sadly they weren't.

I don't disagree, but Pennant never really hung onto the ball long enough, and its not as if the wide players didn't have countless opportunities to get the ball in themselves. They are supposed to be out and out wingers after all. Could't even take a bleedin corner.
