Thanjk you.

The complete lack of effort, passion, balance and direction in our side is pretty disturbing. Apart from our purple patch, it has been pretty much like that all season.
Think maybe because it was Stevie G's final home game, we thought we might see something different from the team maybe a bit of passion or fire.... well I did anyways. But unfortunately same problems are there & can't see them going away without some overhauling.
I missed the game and have just seen the highlights. Truly horrible. Wtf were New Balance thinking with that kit?
To be fair, its like when a good bottle of wine is matched with a good meal but in reverse. So instead we have a ****ing **** kit to go with a ****ing **** team. Perfect.

How **** was the crowd again today? Lots of noise pre game, then after 5 minutes nothing until the match finished and hey presto, they find their voices. ****ing awful. Regardless of the performance, this is the one game it should of been 90 minutes of non stop noise. Thank god for the palace fans making an effort. The crowd performance this season has matched the teams since day one. Perhaps they deserve each other.

Imagine paying mad money for a ticket to that only to watch the match through your camera phone and stay as quiet as a mouse for the entire game. Performance won't have helped either!
Our team seems to really lack any bottle, we just seem to fall apart we it's put up to us. There's just no leaders there, too many players waiting for someone else to do something.
I don't think the occasion helped yesterday. The guard of honour and the high-fiving of their players on to the pitch; The start to the game had a testimonial kind of feel. Perhaps all the congratulatory stuff could have happened at the end so there was a little bit more of a competitive edge to win the game as to not sour the celebrations post match.
Combine that with a flat season coming to an end where there is nothing to fight for and you could see why the performance was lethargic. To be honest, I don't expect much of a reaction at the Stoke game and the season will fizzle out.
Where it will matter is in the summer transfer market. Rodgers has to get it right, be decisive in how he's going to build the team for next year and use the pre-season to iron out his tactics. I feel he has one more season in him and one more season to save his job.
True, same for both sides though really, and you would think our players would have had the incentive to send Gerrard on his way with at least a win, or barring that an enthusiastic display.

Be difficult as now we don't have the Champions League carrot to dangle and nor can we/won't pay mega wages to attract top players. But wait we have the Europa League
