Just needs to add composure to his game, snatched at some chances which is understandable as he's keen to make an impression. The effort he shows is tremendous. I also like that high ball he pulled out from over his shoulder, did the same in midweek too so it's no fluke. The cute flick to set up Danny for a hat trick chance was also sublime.Forwards.......

I can't compare everyone to Suarez, but what Rodgers told him was to pause for a split second before shooting. His shots on target massively increased after that and he became far more effective.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostYeah his finishing looks the biggest concern. Never fancy him to score going through on goal, but that could come as he settles down.
For me, Danny does some amazing work but then gets excited with a rush of blood to the head and messes up the shot. I'm sure he will settle

When do they decide how much we have to pay Burnley for him? I thought it would all have been sorted by now, but as he's looking good at the moment it might be best if it were sorted sooner rather than later
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

If we had ten others with his mentality we wouldn't have any worries at all.Originally posted by baitman View Postnever any doubts about this lad.
his effort and drive will see him become one of our main men.
Re: his finishing, he isn't quite at the point of being truly clinical yet but I think that can come. He's the sort of striker who doesn't just have one main way of scoring; I've seen him scramble them in, score with his head, neatly finish a snap chance and even belt the odd one if from decent range, but like most young players he can be somewhat inconsistent and prone to "rushes of blood" like Danny said above.
The good thing about him is that even while maturing and growing into the LFC shirt he adds enough to all round play up top that he'll always be a useful option. He somewhat reminds me of Craig Bellamy actually, without the permanent arse, though I can see the Kuyt comparison too. He's a good lad too off the pitch by all accounts, actually has his feet on the ground. Anfield will take to him I'm sure; we'll have to wait and see if he develops to become one of the first names on the teamsheet but I can definitely see him having a great career with us as a no 2/3 striker in the squadI could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?
