What would we be happy with? Not that it really matters to us personally..
He's looked pretty good when he's played but at the same time he's got a lot of players ahead of him, surely no more than £10m! Originally I think £7m was reported but since he's had an England call up.Vive la France

i think originally we were hoping for about 5m, burnley were wanting 10m.
the blagging 'bid' from spurs for 12m shouldnt have any bearing on the tribunal, and nor should his subsequent england call up.
the spurs bid might not have gone through so it cant be taken as a true valuation as it wouldnt have mattered if spurs offered 20m as he wasnt going to go there.
the england call up was once he was a Liverpool player, so it cannot be taken into consideration. just suppose he came here and smashed 30 goals in already, would that then mean we now need to pay burnley 20m+
i reckon it will end up being 7m.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

For me, it should be a lot less than £7m. I think the whole thing is a load of bollocks.
In reality, if Burnley think he was worth £10m then why were they not paying him as a £10m player then???
Burnley bought a player from Bournemouth for £1m. They gave him a 4 year contract. After the 4 years, he left.
Burnley's tribunal fee is a "development fee". What a load of bollocks. If he was 12 months older, then they would have got fock all. I think if someone challenged this properly, then you could find that it is all a load of ****e.... surely it's ageist to potentially restrict an out of contract player moving to the place where he wants to play his football.
For me, there could be another Bosman style scenario where it makes all transfer fees redundant. The purchasing team would have to simply pay the players club the remainder of what he would earn. So if someone is on the last year of a contract on £20k per week, then the transfer fee is automatically set at £1.04m. Because that is what the club are saying he is effectively "worth" to them.

Of which, is the correct assumption! Ings has done well prior to his move from Burnley but who to say that he hasn't developed further training & playing with better quality players around him...does that enhance Burnley's case?...Bollocks to that!...Greedy *******s that won't be entertained by us again if they ever come looking for a player on loan or summat.Originally posted by Assassin View PostThis, the injury and Spuds bid will have no bearing on the evaluation. £6 mill topsNope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

i am sure that 12million bid was just to get more out of us anyway and part of the trippier deal from Burnley to Spurs....you can have him for a few million but you need to bid 12million for Ings so we can get a few million more out of Liverpool!
