    Yep

As I said previously the club will be aware of all the other bids that would potentially push up the Tribunal Fee

They will go into the Tribunal with an approximate idea what they will pay based on all the relevant criteria and information. The deal with Ings would have been concluded with that in mind

Just reading the rules etc.. I think its going to be a big fee (assuming the Spurs bid is true). Even without Spurs bidding I think it would be circa £5-6 million minimum

Guessing it would be around £8m, I think that's a bit high personally.

Maybe with the Sterling situation we'd be better off letting his contract run down rather than selling him in the next 2 years, get Tranmere to lash a £60m bid in the week before.

Any tiny rumour from whatever source turns in to a feckin meltdown here on Est with posters taking turns of describing how **** our club is. Seriously, it has gotten much worse lately...

I wonder if it's the same development on other fan sites, my guess is yes.

              Got.

That's because we have in the whole been a right clustert**** across the board since the 08/09 season & we seem to never learn from our mistakes- a lot if which seem very fundamental to the average fan. Years of failure induces cynicism & criticism. Not sure why that's so difficult for some to understand. We seem to just get further behind our rivals & every time we take a step forward we take 3 back.
              3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Premier League money is inflated so in real terms, we're only spending £4m. Keep your hair on lads.

Is this transfer going to be decided by a tribunal then? Can't really tell

Last thing I read was that the clubs were trying to do it without the Tribunal, and at the moment are a bit of a way apart.

Have you read the last page in this thread, Rich?

Hes clearly read the rules of the tribunal committee in particular this one

3.8 substantiated interest shown by other clubs in acquiring the registration of the Player.

Aye me too, but I guess the joke was lost.

                              Maybe it wasn't then.

If I remember correctly tribunals always worked in the players' favour. Clubs were seldom 'happy' with the money they received. I've got a feeling they're just going to split the difference to keep everyone happy.

We'll value him at £2m as a low number. Burnley value him at £12m. That's a 10m difference which split is £5m. Add our initial valuation to that (2m) and it ends at £7m. Which is what I've suggested in my post above. Be very surprised if its anything above that.
