I'm with the views expressed above, I just don't see how he even gets on the bench let alone in the team. Stylistically he's perfect for Klopp but he's just in the company of better players. I assume the not selling him thing was because we'll need him next season with increased games hopefully so he'll just have to bide his time until then. There's a shout to have him on the bench instead of Origi but what good does that do since Origi never gets on, neither will Ings and not getting on is the only reason Origi has done **** all!

StorageOriginally posted by HarvWhat ****ing game were you watching?
Studge was absolutely dire. Minimal effort and the touch of a rapist. He looked like he couldn't be arsed most of the time.
Ings deserves a game to show what he's made of IMO. Storage and Origi haven't exactly covered themselves in glory this season. They've both looked massively off pace.
Ings is going to have to force his way into the team and take every opportunity afforded to him.

Well we're not privy to how they are performing in training and i'd say Ings is well behind Origi and Sturridge in terms of fitness as this is what his first 90mins.Originally posted by G View PostI'm with the views expressed above, I just don't see how he even gets on the bench let alone in the team. Ings biggest problem is you can't have three strikers on the bench (to be fair two is pushing it). Although I think Ings could replace Mane, Firmino or Coutinho through with his workrate, so he's arguably a better option than Origi in any case.
Scoring in the u-23s is a fair distance off prem level, but it'll hopefully get his fitness levels up to feature sometime around the turn of the year when Mane if off to the ACN and there are some cup games.

I thought the exact opposite against Leicester, he showed great change of pace before the exquisite back heel to Mane.Originally posted by Lecter View PostThe only thing that concerns me about Sturridge is his pace appears to have reduced
He looks like hes lost a yard or two and I think that was a lot of what made him a good player
Sturridge is our best striker, no doubt at all for me."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Bob Paisley

I agree with this but I also agree with Lecter, Sturridge is definitely not running as freely as he did before - he seems to run within himself constantly now.Originally posted by Tee View PostI thought the exact opposite against Leicester, he showed great change of pace before the exquisite back heel to Mane.
