What a warrior, could his attitude keep him at Anfield next season?

    Was muß, das muß.

Hope it works out for him here, really do.
      3rd place. Worst champions ever.

I'd love it if he did make a career here. I think he is potentially Klopps type of player as well - would work his nuts off and isn't a selfish prick. Plus I think he knows where the goal is as well......

Fingers crossed we see Ings next season

He's the leader we need but won't get.

Leader, yeah that probably why we have so many injuries. Im not sure what he really offers at this stage. We need a pacey striker anyway, and a backup too. Sturridge and Ings are more or less useless in our forward planning at this stage.

I would call it a shame, but with the number of injuries we have had, I would be questioning the influence of our staff.

            This goes beyond being unlucky.

I think he'll have a lot to offer us providing he hasn't lost much through his injuries. His irrepressible desire makes him a potentially excellent asset as an impact sub and as a catalyst for us when we're up against lesser teams where we have too often struggled to maintain our usual levels of desire/tempo/urgency both on and off the ball.

Can't see it working out and wouldn't be surprised to see him offloaded as soon as he can prove a modicum of fitness.

Let's hope so, would love to see him a success. His attitude and desire is second to none.

Just worry about his injuries, I reckon if he breaks down again that's his career over with which will be devastating for him.

Yep. I mean already he may well come back and be well off his prior level, in which case sad reality would be that he'd have to move on. Remains to be seen though. I'm hopeful. He deserves the chance to prove himself.

Really like the guys attitude & his desire to succeed aligns himself to Klopp.

I hope he's lost nothing when he returns.

To get the amount of serious injuries hes had with such little play time, its best we sell him first chance we get.

It's not as if he was top class before the injuries. It's a long shot to expect him to come back as a PL class striker

Danny Ings to make return for Liverpool U23s tonight

Danny Ings will play for Liverpool U23s at Swansea City tonight as the striker continues his recovery from a second long-term injury.

Having missed the majority of last term after knee surgery, Ings travelled with the first-team squad for the pre-season training camp in Germany this summer but did not feature in any of the recent warm-up matches for Jürgen Klopp’s side.

But that was due to circumstances, not fitness, according to the manager.

The trip to Watford for the Premier League opener on Saturday will therefore come too soon for Ings, but he will be involved as Neil Critchley’s U23s kick off their season in Wales.

“Danny will play tonight. He needs games,” Klopp told reporters at Melwood.

“It was unlucky; Danny looked really good in the sessions but when he could be 100 per cent part of the pre-season games, there was no time for us to really test and give him five or 10 minutes, we had to do it differently. It was not too cool but it was the situation.

“Now he is ready to go. He is fit, as fit as he can be in this moment, no problem with injury.

“He will play tonight with the U23s. He is fit but not really an option [yet] because he has had no pre-season games so far.”

Looking forward to Ings getting his career on track if the injuries haven't knackered him. Come on Danny Boy, surprise us all.

Ings will be sold next season IMO, same with Origi.
