Feeling more nervous than excited about tomorrow now. Stoke were a good team last season and they've strengthened significantly over the summer. We need to get off to a positive start, our next six away games are going to be challenging to say the least! We have a bit of momentum from our pre-season friendlies, just hope we can get three points tomorrow. I suspect it'll be a nail-biter.

First part is true, the second isn't to be fair. They have lost Nzonzi who was one of their best players and Begovic who again has been superb for them.

Pressure's off in my mind, tough away games so nothing to lose. Win a couple, lose a couple. Let's just go out there and show them why we're going to finish ahead of clubs that haven't strengthened sufficiently this summer (Chelsea, Utd, City).

I think the pressure is very much on. The need to justify our summer spending; The need for Rodgers to hit the ground running; The need to push for Champions League football from the off. All whilst trying to rectify a very fresh-in-the-mind 6-1 hammering.

The question will be more around how the players respond to this pressure.
