I meant I wish he wouldn't be used as a right back. He was so great in the centre alongside VVD. You wouldn't ever play Virgil st full back. He is prone to picking up injuries, asking him to run up and down the wing imo puts him at more risk.

Since we let Clyne go I assume Klopp was intending to use Gomez as cover again. That's back fired.
