    A cast or a protective boot?

    A cast would usually only be used for an extreme fracture, would seems odd since he was able to walk off and Klopp said he wasn’t in too much pain afterwards.

      They always wear them for protection - it doesn’t mean it’s “bad” per se but of course it might be

        Protective boots, yeah you’d expect him to be wearing one of those even it’s minor.

        But if it’s a cast that would suggest it’s bad, so I’m wondering was it definitely a cast and not a boot.

                        Made me wonder if he plays within himself a lot due to the injuries. Couldn't help but play in the back of your mind when jumping and going in for tackles etc. He's had rotten luck.

                              He looked to be back to that level of fitness and sharpness towards the end of last season.

                              A fully fit Gomez is a great addition to our squad.
