Welcome, I'd like to be happy but the previous signings from Southampton have me ruined. Hope you turn out better.

Welcome to LFC, hopefully he will settle into the side quickly and we can get a solid defensive base for the side by the start of the season.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

a decent defender first and foremost, but who can also get forward and get some crosses in.

solid in the tackle too. mini-beef
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

hopefully our defense can stay injury free for most of the season and build some consistency.....

                          I think a team of:

                          ________________________MIGNOLET__________________ _______

                          CLYNE___________SKRTEL__________SAKHO____________M ORENO

                          ________________________EMRE CAN_________________________

                          ___________HENDERSON_______________MILNER_________ ______

                          ________________________COUTINHO__________________ _______

                          __________STURRIDGE__________________FIRMINO______ _______

looks pretty good..... the big question mark there would be whether Emre Can could play DM in the long term and also Sturridges fitness.

However, Henderson and Milner are both energetic enough to be able to press the opposition in high areas up the pitch and also cover for their full backs - both of whom like to bomb on.

If we could rely on Lucas being fit for a season then him at DM would be great as well. He has the intelligence in his play to cover for Hendo / Milner and switch between covering for each full back as well.....

The fact that we have some sort of strenght in depth as well is great........when we sell Sterling, Borini and Lambert (and maybe Balotelli if we can find anyone to take him), then hopefully we will bring in another striker to further strenghten us....

Will be good to have a solid back line supported by Milner+Hendo. This guy will spare no busted gut to get back to defend. His defensive stats (specially dispossession) are surprisingly excellent. The fewer times our fullbacks give the ball away = more time for Coutinho/Firmino on the ball doing good stuff.

I think we'll be 433, with Can, Milner and Hendo- each swapping who goes forward and who stays back.

Then Coutinho and Firminho either side of whichever striker isn't injured
