Given we have no European footy this season, that gives us six players to rotate for the two CB slots.

Of course if Sakho gets suspended/banned (think he has a hearing in the next few weeks) then we would need to start looking for another starter level CB.

For the FB slots if we had the starting lineup I posted, then we would have Flanagan, Moreno, Gomez, and Smith as the cover for the two starters. Again giving us six players to rotate for two positions.
With the exception of Gomez & possibly Flanno none of those would give me much confidence if we had a long term injury. And as far as CB goes only Lovren gives me much confidence.

Well Gomez can cover in both full back slots and so can Flanagan.

Lovern and Gomez can cover both CB positions.

So we would need another season of silly injuries for us to need more than those three as back up (although we are getting good at racking up the long term injuries)

If we bring in a left back (of starter quality) then I think we have the numbers at the back.

The lack of quality cover arguement could be made about our midfield and forward line too, but I think it is still too early in the window to worry about it because all it would take is for one or two good signings to be made on top of what we already have coming in and things could start to look a fair bit healthier for us.

And much as I dislike not being in one of the European cups next season, the reduction in games has to be something that is in our favour as it reduces the number of games players can get injured in, and the lack of games increases recovery time between domestic games. Not to mention gives Klopp more time with the players at the training ground.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

He did create ****ing loads in that game, some great chances too. Kyle Walker's whacking the ball out of play, kicking it against the full backs legs or just standing there looking gormless seemed to get more hype though for some reason.

Excellent against chelsea, tough tackling and got forward very well too.
