Don't know, it keeps happening, if someone is out these rumours start. Although we did get more info on Lallana at first. We've heard very little about Clyne but maybe that's just something the players asked for. We should just shut up and talk about football.

Lallana's injury was well defined, his return date was well defined and his improvement has been talked about.

**** knows what's wrong with Clyne, no one knows his return date and his continued injury has been talked about.

Lallana picked up a thigh injury and was due to be out until December. He came back sooner than expected and was then pencilled in for a return after this international break which he's on course to do. It was a pretty standard injury and recovery.

Clyne, along with 10 others didn't reappear for the 2nd half against Tranmere in our first pre-season game. We were told afterwards he had a slight back problem. He was expected to be fit for the German training camp, but didn't make it, then we'd hope to see him back at the start of the season, but he again wasn't passed fit. When he was omitted from the CL squad it was a bit of a shock as we were led to believe he was recovering. He then posted them pics in September suggesting he was on the road to recovery, but has now suffered another setback.

I think the fact that Clyne rarely gets injured and the fact it was what appeared an innocuous injury, rather than one he was stretched off for is what has people suspicious. Back injuries can be a f*cker though, so it shouldn’t be too surprising if that’s the only issue. Lallana on the other hand is always picking up injuries, I’d be more suspicious if he went a full season in jury free.

Not sure how thus could be a factor. Maybe if he had come out and was receiving a lot of abuse... but I honestly dont think that would happen (obviously there would be one or two dickheads).
