But he'll be rusty as ****. Shame we don't have any cup games to give him a go in.

If he's only just back in training it'll probably be April at the earliest before he's properly match fit.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It's been weird because so far the club have Declyned to comment on why he's been out for so long.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

There is no way he's playing this campaign, its too much of a risk. The best we can hope for is he is integrated back into the squad and if we have a injury crisis he is as good to go as can be expected. I'd expect to see him play in the U23s soonish though

There's pictures of him in quite vigorous training sessions with the first team squad. Surely that implies he is close to playing.

page 7 for poor Nathaniel, absolutely nowhere near any squads, yet it probably takes 2 knocks for him to be first choice.

his 'injury' last season enabled TAA/Gomez to massively kick on. If Moreno moves on, Gomez becomes an established CB and possibly even Trent moving into midfield. He could get some decent minutes as RB/LB cover. Still only 27 and should be playing regularly somewhere surely.

When i saw this thread bumped, my first thought was that he was either injured or had left the club by mutual consent.

Some fall from when he started his LFC career.

I am always surprised to see him not even be in the match day squad - especially when dopey Moreno is on the bench.

It is highly probable that the club want to get rid of him in Jan. In reality he is now 3rd choice right back - but he probably earns more than the other 2 every week.
