struggling to see how we gain anything from this, he was a steady rock in that shambolic defence of previous. Its a shame he never got to be play a part in this one, although ill suited

No big deal letting him go, but I do hope we get another RB to rotate with TAA so that Gomez can stay at CB.

Seems madness to let him go out on loan in the circumstances TBH.

Except I haven’t, because Klopp would rather rotate half of his best CB pairing than play Clyne. It literaly took 3 injuries for Clyne to get a start. The chances of all 3 being injured together again are remote, so Clyne leaving is unlikely to make any difference.

Klopp getting an RB that he would rotate with TAA is not the same as keeping Clyne.

Strange one Clyne can cover both full back positions and is the one getting game time. I wouldn't be so fussed if it were Moreno. I'm not keen on Gomez at fullback and I feel this leaves us short of experienced options.

Also loan really doesn't make sense, I could perhaps see the reasoning if we were getting money for him.

I am hoping we have someone lined up to come in
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He got 1 start, when 3 players ahead of him were injured.
He then got 3 brief sub appearances with 2 of the still 3 unavailable.

Now 2 of them are back and Gomez should be back in a few weeks.

He’s back at 4th choice before the window closes. This really isn’t a mystery

                I agree.

Also, Klopp just doesn't seem to rate him for what ever reason. No point in him hanging around not getting games.

I'm not sure it's as simple as he doesn't rate him. I think it might be similar to the Klavan and Ings situations in that Klopp is doing this for the player more than the club. I'm sure Klopp would have been more than happy to keep him as part of the squad.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Difficult being 4th choice right back, even having a centre back and a midfielder infront of you. Understand it, although I would have preferred keeping him for a few more weeks.
                    * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

There may be an element of that. But we do know that Klopp has 3 players ahead of him in the pecking order. Milner would have played against Utd but for a muscle injury.

Most clubs don’t keep a senior player as a 4th choice right back.

We know clyne only got a game when gomez got injured but gomez shoud never have been our right back cover with our other two cb otions being injured.
Keep clyne as full back cover or rotation or taa or robbo, dont ****in blow it when its "our year" klopp...

It's fine. He's hardly played this season, so it makes sense for him especially. We have cover.
                            Are we winning?

                              Cant see the sense.

Bournemouth have signed Liverpool defender Nathaniel Clyne on loan until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old England right-back has struggled with injury and played only five games last season.

He has made two starts in five appearances this term and is behind Trent Alexander-Arnold in the pecking order at Anfield.

"I'm really excited by this opportunity. It's a great chance for me to come and play football," Clyne said.

"It's a great club with a great story. I can't wait to get going."
