Last year we had 45,000 fans in Thailand and this year about half of that, which should not come as a suprise given the squad we took on this year tour.

I noticed that as well and I was not surprised, as Mostar says just look at the squad we have, no real stars.

I think the club have missed a big trick in making the TV channel a subscription based service. They should had left it free to air IMO, keeping passive LFC fans interested whereas now they probably have lost interest.

I'd say that is a remarkably simplistic way to draw such a conclusion. There are a large number of things that could effect turnout for one single game in a foreign country, not sure extrapolating it to equal a club in decline is at all reasonable on its own.
