So theres no positives to be drawn from winning at one of the toughest venues outside of the obvious like Chelsea etc? Well apart from the 3 points but they dont really count anyway as Stoke were **** and not up for it!

We won and got 3 points but other than that I think its hard to draw any conclusions from that game because I felt neither team performed well

But I agree with the posts above. An away win at Stoke and a clean sheet is not to be sniffed at. Few teams rip it up on the first day of the season, so it's great to get a tricky fixture out of the way.

I don't think anyone is saying it's not a good win.

It's early days and, I agree with Lec, too early to draw any real conclusions. We were in terrible form last season, that cannot be forgotten - but let's hope we have turned the corner and can make some real progress. Only over the next 4-5 games will we see if any is being made.

I don't get this whole 'agenda' business. Since when has posting an opinion. Anonymously. Online become peddling an agenda. It would be naive to think that the team is definitely playing a lot better, we don't have any real evidence yet. It would be equally incredulous to say we have continued last seasons run of poor form.

I think we have it all to prove, and the result at the weekend hopefully stopped the rot. Let's hope that winning becomes habit and turns into some real good form and we get some momentum.
