Thinking on it, same team for me. Lallana came through the ranks at Bournemouth before going to So'ton, he'll be up for this one. If it's not working take him off at HT. I don't see a need for any changes yet, if just ask that the team as a whole move a bit further up the pitch and hold on to the ball a bit better.

I like the option of being able to go long with Benteke now as it means teams can't just push on us and box us in. Hopefully as we move forward we mix it up well with the onus on passing it out if there's no pressure on the backline.

At home against Bournemouth i think we should see more possession near their box and in those situations I think the trickery of Lallana would be ideal. Those saying play a striker, moving to a two up top against a team who are if nothing else, very good at keeping the ball, would not work in our favour I feel.
        Forwards.......

Yeah the same X1 that started v Stoke deserve another start IMO. If Lallana doesn't improve then he'll likely make way for Can & Ibe will be replaced by Firmino or Ings. The other 9 should be nailed on to start.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Anyway..........Bournemouth, if Firmino is fit enough I'd start him. We need someone who can get up alongisde Benteke, he was far too isolated the other day.

Firmino will surely start. We should go for the throat like we did a lot in Suarez's last season - top-load the team and tear into them.

Depends on Firmino's fitness I would think. Agree with the general idea though. I think the 4-2-3-1 shape with Milner pressing from deep stifled our attacking players - would be an ideal game to go 4-3-3.

I'd rather start with Firmino and then take him off for maybe Lallana later on in the game. IMO it's a good game to start him in.

Can and Firmino for me and prepare for the Arsenal game.

I hate to be presumptuous but I feel that we're going to seriously tonk someone with the players we have. Perhaps I just want to believe that because 2013/14 was such good fun!

i do wonder if the game plan against Stoke was a case of two things though:

                                1 - A point away to Stoke isn't such a bad thing....
2 - It's a good practice to get with away fixtures to Arsenal and Scum to come soon....
