Bit of luck but we'll take it, 5 points ahead of Chelsea! Need some personnel and formation changes vs Arsenal. Can and Frimino to start and maybe more of a flat back 4. Didn't really like Clyne pushing push and us playing 3 at the back.

Thought Coutinho, Benteke and Gomez were outstanding. Skrtel and Lovren did well again I thought.

I thought when Henderson went off we seemed to lose it. Did Milner move forward and Lallana drop back? Or was I imagining it?

It seemed crazy changing the whole of the centre mid which had been in control for a while.

Take the points and hope for any positive result at Arsenal. We never do well there.

First 3 games when we finished 2nd we're pretty poor games but we kept it tight and got the wins.

Hopefully we'll improve in the attacking 3rd but we seem to be tighter at the back which is good to see

New season but the same insipid **** served up as last. Utterly listless in midfield.

Save for the three points there was nothing encouraging about tonight's performance.

Brendan lucked out tonight. If we play like that at the Emirates we'll be on the end of a pasting.
