He was out of his depth but fair play to Brendan giving him the chance. Hes obviously going to get a lot of minutes if hes brought him on for the last 20 mins at the Emirates.....risky by Rogers

Can see why he was brought on, and he's obviously only a nipper, looks like he needs to grow into his Shirt
        Big time.

Looked very slow, they got by him with 1,2 touch passes with ease.

That Arsenal midfield regularly makes Prem seasoned players look ordinary so no shame in what we saw from the kid tonight. He'll be buzzing that the gaffer game him minutes IMO.

Looked lost out there. Bringing on two teenagers in him and Ibe is far from ideal. They were both dung, but they're kids and that was a big game.

I thought his shorts looked a couple of sizes too big.
              Oh I don't know.

I think Texeira or Markovic would have made a difference, players that can hold onto the ball and work inside space. Ibe is best for running against stretched teams, which Arsenal were not.

Neither covered themselves in glory but I think they are learning fast. It's good that our club is prepared to give youth a chance. We have a good squad now.

He needs to get with the times, nobody tucks their shirt in anymore.

Haha that was one of the first things that occurred to me when he came on

I kind of agree. I thought Ibe didn't really get into the game at all - he lost possession a few times - one that resulted in him getting a bollocking from Skrtel as it left Arsenal counter us.

Having said of all that though, had Moreno squared the ball at the very end properly, then Ibe could have been the match winner. And Brendan would be a tactical genius again!!

I do hope that Markovic is at least on the bench for the next game though...

Getting back to Rossiter - for me I didn't think he did that bad. Don't get me wrong, I didn't want Lucas to come off the pitch - but Rossiter i thought did okay. Some of his passes were fine - and i liked the way he was happy to talk/shout at the other players.

The worst thing that can happen to him now is for him not to get a look in for the next 10 games. Another bench appearance against West Ham and then starts in the europa / league cup games will hopefully help his development.

By the end of the season, i wonder will he be ahead of Joe Allen in the pecking order???

He reminded me of a young & gangly Gerrard.
                          Are we winning?

He reminds me of Lee Cat and Mole, he tucks his shirt in and wears his shorts dead high ha ha!

15-20mins in his first league game away at Arsenal not enough to judge him on, Arsenal are a top class side with quality players who were on top in the game and playing a fairly high tempo, most players wouldn't look up to speed in those circumstances.

I sometimes despair of interneters and their context free snap assessments of players.
