Surprised no one has bumped this, thought he was excellent.

Thought he worked hard and got a few inceptions but for the most part looked a bit lost, same as chirivella. Our midfield got absolutely dominated last night.

I thought they did ok, but could have benefited from having someone experienced in there with them. If your central midfield consists of an 18 and a 19 year old with about 2 games of first team experience between them, you can't expect them to dominate the game.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

They were absolutely dominated? No they weren't, not in the second half anyway.

              It was a good inception.
              Are we winning?

Liverpool fans are well known for decorating the Anfield sidelines with brilliant flags and banners but the Reds’ latest effort in honour of Jordan Rossiter is pretty shocking.

Rossiter was making his European debut against Bordeaux this evening and so was this woeful banner that contains a weak reference to wrestling star the Rock.

The 18-year-old was born on Merseyside and joined his boyhood club at the age of six.

The midfielder has been compared to Steven Gerrard in some quarters which hopefully means he’ll be around long enough for supporters to come up with a better banner.

Did okay for me. Very young and in a ****, dysfunctional team so all things considered he did okay. I still need convincing though although of course it's still ridiculously early days.

His ma deffo made that banner

Decent performance from the lad, just need to channel his bullishness a bit better, read the game a little more so he isn't coming in late all the time. It will come.

A calm head during a storm which helped. Not sure he'll survive with McFly and Biff Tannen behind him though. Nobody would. Lack of pace is a worry and may see him never realise his premier league dreams.

Love the faint praise in some of these posts.
The lad is 18 making his European debut, after 20 mins another 18 plays alongside him so Rossiter becomes the senior partner because it's his 3rd appearance.

Honestly, the glass has to be half full.

taking into account his age ... decent enough game ... putting his age to one side .. thought he had a bad game

Didn't see the game, but maybe he could do with a good loan spell, maybe from January to May.
                            * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Some asshats on this thread (and elsewhere) the only thing he needs to develop is a better appreciation of when to tackle, at this level it all happens quicker so he was late a number of times. Experience will come.

I think he needs to stay here and keep getting games. You have to find a way of bringing through local lads. I'm convinced carragher wouldn't make it now, if he had been loaned out he would have just stuck at the level he was playing with. He might never be world class but if we can get him to be a very useful player its worth it. You have to be prepared for him to make mistakes. Clubs needs identity, more so now than ever.
