Although you can never be sure about young players I too never saw what the hype was all about with rossiter. Everytime I saw him play, he looked too small and weak to play central midfield. That could all be put aside if his technical skills were superior to other players we have but I never saw that in his game.
His passing was always simple and limited, he also was too slow. I never saw anything out of the ordinary and branagan being younger looks like a different prospect. I liked Rossiter but same as Flanagan the money he was asking for playing the scouse card was ridiculous.
The fact he's signed for what is effectively a Conference/League 2 club says it all.

Mediocrity confirmed
Rangers have confirmed midfielder Jordan Rossiter will join the club in the summer from Liverpool.
England Under-19 cap Rossiter, 19, has agreed a four-year deal.
"Jordan is an outstanding young England youth international who will be an excellent addition," manager Mark Warburton told the Rangers website.
"Technically gifted and game aware, he also has a first-class character and displays a tigerish desire to reach the highest levels of the game."
Rossiter made five first-team appearances for Liverpool after captaining and graduating from Liverpool's academy, including featuring against Sion in the Europa League - Jurgen Klopp's first game in charge of the Merseyside club.
Rangers won this season's Scottish Championship to gain promotion to the Premiership and will face Hibernian in the Scottish Cup final on 21 May.What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins
