Brilliant performance in the first half, trust us to get Cech when he actuallylooks like a keeper again. I thought Benteke was only supposed to be able to head the ball? Puzzling seeing him take pinged passes to feet!

Absolutely ****ing battered them.

No way they can be this bad in the 2nd half, the pessimist in me thinks this has not meant to be written all over it, we should be going in 2 up here. 0-0 is ridiculous considering the way its gone, yes they had one ruled out wrongly but its been a blitz.

Combative midfielders looks as good as most thought it would.

A word to sum this half up.. How.

Some real positives there in that half......Benteke, Cout, the FBs have been excellent, CBs look composed. Bit more from Firmino, and Can to just be a little slicker on the ball, but very good good stuff so far.

Just need to take our next chance and we'll have these.

Thats it, thats what i wanted from rodgers, put the pieces in the right places and it works. Lucas allowing milner and can to press high, and force arse players into mistakes. There is a plan in there and its working. Honestly think Ibe is gonna cause trouble in the second half, as the high pressing is tiring arse players.

That was a good first half performance against a bloody good team.

We've pressed well, which in combination with them being sloppy, has given us a fair bit of the ball in their third. A very good away performance though so far.
