Entire side played well then. Always going to be a few chances given up against sides like Arsenal but we've dealt with them really well and should be leading at the moment.

Got to keep this level up for the 2nd half as I think they'll improve a fair bit in the second half

Arsenal had the best of the opening 10 mins or so and were unlucky to have the goal disallowed, but since then we have been the better side, hit the woodwork twice, Benteke should have scored that chance. Gutted not to be in front, Arsenal can't be as bad second half. Cech having a worldie

Thats it, thats what i wanted from rodgers, put the pieces in the right places and it works. Lucas allowing milner and can to press high, and force arse players into mistakes. There is a plan in there and its working. Honestly think Ibe is gonna cause trouble in the second half, as the high pressing is tiring arse players.

This was great, let's just hope Wenger doesn't make any changes to that defence. Only disappointment is Benteke not scoring that, it was a great save but that goes in 9/10 times, especially from someone who cost 32m.

Feels that way, hit the bar twice and THAT Benteke chance, got to be taking one of those at the Emirates you feel. HT came at a really bad time for us too, allows them to regroup they were on the ropes towards the end there.

hopefully brendan wakes up and sees it too. lucas should always start, but injuries mean we need an alternative. it might only be rossiter or can, but it cant be allen [lol], hendo or milner.

Can't complain about the finishing, very unlucky with two exceptional saves from Cech.

We've pressed well, which in combination with them being sloppy, has given us a fair bit of the ball in their third. A very good away performance though so far.

I think they are looking sloppy because they are being forced into making mistakes and our pressing has them playing balls quicker than they want to.
