"we would actually piss the league if we won every game".

Actually, if we won EVERY game, we'd end up on 93 points, thats would have won the title by just 2 points last year and been enough for second the year before. Thats how I know, its called a points process, 3 points for a win, 1 or a draw, 0 for a loss over 38 games a season....

How do I know it will grow? Call it a hunch but I'd say we'll be dropping more points over the course of the rest of the season than Manure and the Chavs

13 games and 18 points at LFC...if this is enough to rate our manager at 50% or higher, then maybe the expectations of our fans has dropped. 8 points above the relegation zone.

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

I actually prefer to blame the ****s in the shirts. Im not one of these who lets the players off scott free when the team is playing **** and go aftrer the manager/board/chairman etc.

I understand that, but part of being a top manager is buying the right players, motivating them to believe in winning and playing them in their best positions. This season Rafa has failed in most of these areas.

Players will under perform, a top manager keeps those days to a minimum, but some players were never that good and should never be playing a club like this.

They all need to take some blame, but the manager always takes overall repsonsibility.

The way I see it we've an excelent home record, we're in the CC still and qualified for last 16 champs league, we've got the only trophy possible so far and the FA cup still to come.

That give's him a 6 in my book

              I gave Rafa a 7!

              Looking at it objectively...

              League
              Home form - Fortress Anfield - 10/10
Away Form - A bout of travel sickness 2/10

              League Cup - 8/10
Champions League - 8/10 due to early qualification after 4 games (ask me again on Weds night)

We won the shield against Chelsea which gives us bragging rights of sorts.
He got rid of deadwood which had no chance of been scuptured into something neat & brought in his own players such as Pennant & Bellamy.
They need time as it wasn't until November when Crouch got going, remember?

So overall a 6 or 7 is a fair assessment in my opinion.

                3 in the league and 9 in Europe - so a 6.

We should expect to reach the last 8 of both domestic cups
We should expect to reach the last 16 of the CL
We should expect to be in the top 4 in the league

The league is the bread-and-butter. Look at how many points behind we are. Out of contention in November. So far he doesn't nearly deserve a 6, the idea is laughable IMO.

home form 10/10????????? We were shockingly bad against Blackburn & poor against West Ham. We have played at home West Ham, Newcastle, Spurs, Blackburn & Reading. Hardly the hardest of games yet we've looked anything but convincing in a lot of those. Our confidence is shot to pieces and I don't see enough 'Roll your sleeves up' sorts.

Finnan plays like he's on Pro Evo, sideways or backwards pass, press R2 and runs forwards infield. Crap.

I gave Rafa a 1/10 on the basis that I can't see we've gained any results that a muppet in charge couldn't have acheived.

I'd give him a 4 out of 10 because of the early CL qual.

We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold.

I do wish you'd revert to either your smooth talking persona or your filthy one. You're overstretching your case a little, don't you think?

Then again, you're not the only one.

                        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Things have got pretty bad on here when people are slating each other over subjective assessments using an arbitrary and undefined relative measurement. My 7 might mean I think he's doing worse than someone else's 4.

And what if the scale went up to 11?

Though it hardly helps your argument when you omit our best performance against potentially the most difficult opponents (Villa)

****ing hell, I knew there was one more but I just couldn't think who it was in the last few minutes of my lunch break! Yes this was a good result, I'll add on one for that - 2/10.
