Couldn't post this in the Match thread any more, so going to post this here and then I'm back to lurking.
I've been *THIS* close to posting over a long time... I'm here pretty much every day. I read everything. But this is the last straw that made me want to vent my frustration. It's beyond ****e.Originally posted by G View PostGood to see you back man. Shame about the ****ty circumstances.
I liken it to this film project I had been working on. Feature film. I was hired as a script consultant. Told them how to make the film work, why it's not working. Nobody listened. The producer (Rodgers) had his own views on things. I told him 'Listen. You need a hero. You need to let people do what they do best (play people in position). Did he listen? No. What happened? After spending 100 thousand Euros and shooting half the film, the film has been binned. He wanted to 'do things his way'. Cunts. The lot of them. He should've been sacked.
Anyways, I digress.
Rodgers is not a winner. He is the capstone of the pyramid. From him downwards everything rolls. He needs to be the leader. The fighter. He's nothing. He's in charge. He's ****ing it up.
Anyways, **** it. It's only football.

Have held my tongue long enough and tried to be optimistic but after that, after West Ham. Nope. Rodgers out. Klopp get your new red baseball cap on...

Whatever way you look at it, we've got a striker who has scored 2 in 5 with zero support. How about actually giving him some Brendan?
For me, it was the United fans singing you're getting sacked in the morning, but most Liverpool fans (myself included) are actually hoping that is the case. I think fans might be hoping Rodgers gets it right but there is no belief that it will ever happen.
