Remember the days when Skrtel was our third or fourth choice CB? Good times.

Now he's our first choice and that just shows how far we have fallen. You don't improve your team by promoting the squad players when first teamers leave.

The whole team has scored 3 in 5. Its beyond a joke.

I remember when Chelsea beat us at Anfield - when Gerrard slipped - and Rodgers saying he would never set up a team like Chelsea did that day (i.e. so defensively). Now he is doing it every week - but very, very badly. There are absolutely no plus points from his point of view.

I have said before that if we don't press we seeingly have no purpose and we saw that today.

Defence and keeper were very shakey, mistakes from Gomez for the pen and Skrtel's backing off an lack of a challenge gave them the third, first 20 mins or so the passing at the back was a nightmare and we kept giving the ball away 30 yards from goal. Clyne again the best of a bad bunch.

Midfield - only Lucas seems to have a defined role, the other guys don't seem to know what we are supposed to be doing Rodgers just seems to want to pick a collection of bland midfielders who don't really seem to be able to influence the game, I think that they are decent midfielders, but I don't see a system that works for them, I still don't know what type of player Can should be.

The attacking players weren't really supported by the midfield. Firmino was badly off the pace, Ings worked hard and I think it was his effort that cleared off the line, he was decent but isn't a wide player, Benteke was very isolated but scored a great goal, Origi wasn't really in the game.

No closing down, no pressure on the ball. When we do have it, there's nothing happening in front of it. Pedestrian sideways passes. Then we lose it again.

Skrtel needs to take up rugby, his backwards and sideways passing would be more appreciated.

There was a passage of play in the first half where we were just short of half way line, about 5 Can - Skrtel back one twos and we nearly conceded a Can own goal

His alternative options were to hoof it forward or to pass to a player being marked.

Benteke once again, completely isolated. Firmino and Ings played out of position... Lots of work rate but hideous on the ball. Worst game I've ever seen Milner play... Haven't been impressed with him at LFC. Lucas was shocking and Can I'm not sure will make it at LFC. The defence was fine for the most part but United offered little. Skrtel was great for most of the game and then that tendency to back off cost us a goal, was infuriating. Clyne just watched aswell. Gomez struggled alot.

All our players arw so much better than they are showing, it's our manager that needs replacing. He simply doesn't know what to do. We are better than the **** being served up.
