I have never claimed to have "insider" knowledge but I have been told on good authority that Stevie is off. Apparently there is some sort of pre-contract agreement in place with Real Madrid and the rest of the details would break the rules on the Gerrard rumours as it is heavily tied in with this.

I don't claim to be an insider and I hope this is all rubbish but the guy who told me would not make this up.

If you'd bothered to tell us who your source is we might consider it.

They way I see it Rafa isn`t building the team around SG at all.
IMO it looks like he`s building it around a core of Momo, Xabi and Kuyt.

I'm not too bothered if anyone considers it or not to be honest, just passing this on in good faith. My source is a close friend of the family and he didn't tell me his source, it wasn't necessary as he would not make this up. If he has been duped, I don't know, make of it what you will...

but this particular rumour has nothing to do with rafa so i am not sure what you are on about here (as usual to be fair)

again without going into it, if stevie wants to leave for reasons other than football ones then i'd rather he went as its better for all concerned

and i'm not even sure who would replace rafa if he was to leave.

perhaps rafa will follow stevie to madrid and he can play on the right there too?
