Better than recently but the fact is they are one of the worst teams we'll play at Anfield this season in the league (bar Sunderland) and we still didnt win. Upcoming fixture list looks ****ing horrible.

On the plus side Sakho and Moreno are gods and Ings looks boss.

I thought that the performance was infinitely better than previous games, we looked much more like an attacking unit, Moreno and Sakho were great. Midfield was poor, decision making in the final third was poor. Coutinho had alot of chances but made the wrong decisions and some poor finishes. Two up two worked much better, Sturridge was off the pace but offered a different dimension, it's a shame Benteke went off injured because we were always going to take Sturridge off, which meant that we went down to 1 forward when we needed two the most. IMO Firmino should have come on as a 2nd striker for Sturridge or we should have had Origi on the bench. I thought Ings did well, but s he was on his own he was alone against their defence.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

The eternal work in progress remains a work in progress. Coutinho wants shooting after that failure to engineer a goal with a man wide open. Not a terrible display by any means but we're still miles off and Brendan keeps going back to the drawing board which at this stage is a terrible indictment of his time in charge at this stage. We're a terrible mess in terms of calmness, blueprint and sense of direction.

Can't believe we bought Milner as our main midfielder. ****ing ridiculous.

Yeah, just checked the subs - for some reason I thought Origi was there.

I hope people don't even attempt to defend the performance because it won't wash. 5 games in a row without a win, 1 point from the last 3 games, 3 at the back at home to Norwich, boos at the end of the game. It's going to be over for Rodgers pretty soon at this rate.

I've said I'm happy to see Sakho fck up for us for the rest of the season than ever seeing Lovren fcking up for us ever again. I'm in such a privileged position to make such a choice.

works hard, but not creative enough.

For more than half a season now our form has been relegation form, or mid table at best. And it was relegation form for the first third of last season as well. (Average points equivalent in all comps after last 19 games is around 1.2)

This isn't going to last and you can't just forgive by thinking that our form might pick up in November. You'll only win the FA Cup that way assuming, you can play past March, which we can't do either.

It's not a knee jerk reaction to suggest that BR isn't right for us. He's surely spent more money than any other manager has ever seen for us (even adjusted for inflation) and still can't put out a team to beat Norwich at home.
                    Really?

A mix of the promising and the disappointing

Sturridge back, naturally he was a bit rusty but you could quickly see how his presence made the side more mobile, obviously we'll have to hope there is no reaction to suddenly playing competitive football and that he can play again next PL game. The back line was pretty good today even if I do not like the fact of it a) being a three and b) containing Can (who played well but I don't want him there). Sakho shows so much more than Lovren its outrageous that he has been overlooked till this week. His forward passing is so much better for the side, where things break down is in the middle namely Milner who had a poor match, suddenly he looks like someone with too much on his mind, slow to move the ball, tried to play passes that were not on so losing possession generally "meh". Ings did well, very hard working on and off the ball - sort of Kuytesque in that regard but with a better touch.

The home point to Norwich of course does the manager no favours at all, esp given the recent history between the two sides, so it'll be interesting to see how the papers write this one up - signs of progress or that Liverpool couldn't beat a side just promoted.

Technically we never bought him. We have a hand-me-down as a main midfielder
                          Football without Origi is nothing

Rubs salt in the wound seeing the Utd wankfest over Martial... They're clinical. We're anything but.
