I don't know, our end of season involved losing 6-1 to stoke and this wasn't that bad. How he survived that is beyond me.

Completely agree. Should've gone within 24 hours. FSG have made a rod for their own backs in backing him in the summer but you can't fix a mistake by sitting around, doing nothing and hoping it gets better. That's why he should go now IMO. Be decisive - don't compound that mistake.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostI don't know, our end of season involved losing 6-1 to stoke and this wasn't that bad. The positives - Danny Ings worked hard makes clever runs and adds something to the side -Benteke when fit and clearly was struggling today does hold it up well and will bring both Studge into the game but I really believe at home we could play all of those three in a lineup.
Whatever happens we MUST play 2 up front and not isolate the front man!
Lallana and Firmino useful off the bench. Moreno's best game today and Clyne simply has to get past his man and get some serious crosses in!!
It is a pleasure to see Sakho back and he adds so much to the defence in confidence which sadly is not in any way helped by Mignolet who gifts a goal and minutes later makes a worldie block!!
His distribution especially kicking is dire - absolutely not much improvement there at all.
Bogdan will play v Carlisle and if he does well should be given a chance.
Personally feel Hendo is best centrally -Milner had an off day but is versatile but injuries save that decision for now.
Watched the Spurs game and Palance largely battered Spurs -Norwich were very fit and worked very hard -but we had enough chances to win by 3!!

Brendan should be thankful that we have owners who haven't got a ****ing clue about football, they don't know the first thing about it because if they did he would have been sacked after the 6-1 game or earlier.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostCompletely agree. Dark days ahead I'm afraid.

It's bad enough now but who knows what damage will be done to th season if he is kept on for another few months. Personally I think another season outside of the champs league and Coutinho is gone aswell.
I really see no hope with him. When I think about it the amount of vital mistakes with tactics and personnel he has made is nothing short of ridiculous for a club looking to finish in the top 4. He is so out of his depth and I think he knows it. Once he is gone from LFC, he will never get a job like it again.

He was & has the pedigree & I do like him- but his experience of late is with minted teams- Chelsea, PSG, Real, Milan. Klopp has been at a place with less money & is younger & hungrier.Originally posted by Rich View PostMy preference today would be Ancelotti. Even as Chelsea manager he was a class act.
Either would be a dream tho- especially from where we are.3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Mignolet - not good enough. It's telling that united got 3 points on the back of a mom performance from de gea, whereas our lad is directly responsible for their equaliser. We messed up not spending the money on a decent replacement.
Coutinho - love the lad, but he simply has to score that. That's training ground stuff. Straight at the keeper. Spend the rest of the game trying to score a worldie when the simple pass was the better ball.

Coutinhos finishing in general is why many say he should play deeper with Firmino or Lallana in behind the striker. He's always dropping deep to get on the ball anyway and still gives him the chance at a blockbuster from range.Originally posted by vonk View PostMignolet - not good enough. If we have runners in front like Firmino abd the pace of either Ings/Studge next to a target like Benteke we should get some goals.
Let Can or Lucas sit in front of a back 4 and let Milner bust a gut whilst the star quality shines around him.Forwards.......

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
