Nobody else did any defending either. A mistake compounded by others. He came out and stopped because they made a simple pass taking him out of the game long before he got near the ball.

Lovren went to no mans land to intervene and was bypassed as if he wasn't there. Skrtel did what he always does and backed off and backed off without doing any actual defending. Moreno was asleep.

I admit Skrtel backs off annoyingly so but he's hardly gone to rush out when Lovren had gone awol and left another hole (as per usual). It was Lovren's fault for being completely and utterly out of position, end of

I thought that was fairly obvious, but apparently not. It's the managers fault anyways for playing Lovren.

So he left the goalscorer and you reckon that's good defending. Nice one. A defense concedes a goal means they've all ****ed up. End of as Dan would say.
