Still can't score more than one goal in a match - haven't done so since March

Less than 18 months ago we were thumping the league leaders with 4 goals in the first twenty minutes at Anfield what a spectacular downward spiral we have been on.

Nobody else did any defending either. A mistake compounded by others. He came out and stopped because they made a simple pass taking him out of the game long before he got near the ball.

The attacking player is level (with Lovren) as he plays the pass into the space vacated by Lovren

If Lovren had kept going forward he might have narrowed the angle

He left the goal scorer to stop the man on the ball waltzing in on goal and slotting in past the keeper. There were two players to mark and only one player - Skrtel - in the vicinity, because Lovren had gone AWOL.
