But whilst players likeCouts, Firmion, Lallana & Studge buzzing around Benteke sounds good, in reality it lacks the pace needed at the top level.
Fair enough I hadn't seem much of him (still haven't really) but I thought he played more as a number 10 or 2nd striker. I suppose that makes a little more sense then, but there's still not really anyone to play on the other side.

Also as you say we lack pace in the final third
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He played all the front forward positions and would regularly switch.

"The motivation of the players was very high to come here. We know we are improving with each game. We can still be better with our passing. In the second half, we didn't keep the ball well enough when we won it back.

"It is a very good point. It is a difficult place to come. We looked like we were getting better in our attack and defensively we were more cohesive.

"There's no pressure for me. My worry is for the team and you have seen a response of how they feel. This is a team which has lost four of the real catalysts.

that's true and has been the case since Hicks and Gillette left. But the only opportunity we had to be in a position where we weren't rebuilding was this season. Unfortunately our signings in the close season summer 2014 were so bad that we had to rebuild again. Who's fault? don't know. I'm of the opinion that the club shares its' budget between the transfer committee and Rodgers which is no good for anyone.
                Really?

presumably he means Carra, Gerrard, Suarez and Sterling? I think only Suarez is a viable complaint. We lost Gerrard years ago; Carra was a decent defender but never a catalyst ; and if you're calling Sterling a catalyst then you're already in trouble.
                    Really?

It's like what nevile was saying during the arse utd game...all of arsenals passes are decisive and mean something. They were very direct in their 3 goals so far. That was everything we were not today.

I think more telling in the arsenal game is how the players are pressing coherently when out of possession and offering options when they do. Nice triangles all over the park.

They have a clear way of playing/identity. Ours is sorely missing/non existant!
