Just seen the goal we conceded - hopelessly defended. Awful. We could concede that kind of goal to any team.

The problem is not about being narrow but a lack of penetration and accuracy in the final third. The fullbacks are providing good width.

It is a problem to be fair. Clyne has got up forward, Moreno not so much but the delivery is not there. The final ball has been awful. Origi has got nothing either.

New system will take time to get right. Players adapting.

Solid but a bit dull, one silly error got Kazan their goal, one silly error allowed Liverpool to score from a free kick. Playing one up top is not the way forward, Ings would love this sort of match...alas.

Lucas on for Allen, exactly what we needed. Can't play fullbacks that high without support for the CBs. Good decision IMO.

Lucas straight away - in the right place to break up the counter-attack and head it back, then ran back into defence to cover in case we conceded possession instead. Who needs legs when you have intelligence?
