Feel sorry for Origi, playing upfront in a side that doesn't create much with Firmino and Coutinho behind him (across the games) looking to shoot from 25 yards instead of playing him in.
Great to see the confidence return to Ibe's game, thought he was good.
Randall improved 2nd half after struggling with the pace of the game and his positioning.
Teixeira was the best of the 3 new lads, confident, assured and great skill for the back heel finish.
Thought Brannigan struggled, haven't been impressed when I've watched him for the 18's or 21's over the last few years either but unfair to judge on 1 game so hopefully he'll get more chances or a loan move.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

I agree for the most part, but I though Brannigan was decent, he was playing next to Allen and Randall who also didn't have the best of first half so all things considered I think he was quite alright. Texeira can and should play some league minutes now IMO.
      * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I think Origi needs the experience. He might not make it but its only by playing that he can learn what is needed. He is the one player that Klopp seems to consistently yell at - so I wonder if the lack of being passed to is because he isn't where he should be/doing what his supposed to be doing.

I thought Kolo was playing very well and was disappointed when he went off. Part of me was thinking he could possibly push for a starting place if Skrtel didn't start improving in the league.

TBF though, Skrtel came on and did quite well too, as did Lovren. Was wondering how Lovren would cope under Klopp as I though the high pressing game might suit him, but was worried he could be horribly exposed on the counter with our FB's pushing so far up. Decent enough performance from him though.

He was giving Benteke up and down the banks on Sunday also

I think he yells at the attackers as they have a role in the pressing or at least in cutting off areas of the pitch to allow the midfield to press

This is what i was on about last night, he really has an extra word with Joe Allen, as if trying to convince him he can be a decent player, instilling confidence. ( i know the last part of that sentence will make certain people giggle. )

Whether Allen gets sold or not in the near future, Klopp knows he needs all the players right now, not ignoring anyone at all.

                  That would make sense.

Opta should collect stats on manager yelling.

Said it a million times but under Rodgers, after THAT season (aka Suarez), we never functioned as a team, albeit in attack or defence.

The new players coming in didn't stand a chance.

Now you feel, you could play Luis Alberto in midfield and Markovic on the wing and they'd make a good account of themselves.

I said it in another thread but if we have the option to recall Luis Alberto, I would do so. It's the perfect time now to bed him in. Now or never, so to speak. I don't think we have another midfielder of his ilk.

It will be interesting to see who, if any of Rodgers failure signings that have been loaned out come back & succeed under Klopp. Markovic could but not sure about others tbh.

Origi was coming in to be 4th choice and with injuries he is playing and leading the attack.

With all the changes involved surely some patience and understanding should go to him.

I see the same as Ibe with him , a young player learning at a big club being chucked in at the deep end.

Give him a season and then see where he is at.

I can't see Alberto coming back
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

To be honest there is only really Markovic out of the players on loan.

However, its the players who are still here that looked likely to fail who interest me more. I'm convinced if Rodgers would have stayed on then Sakho would have been off in the near future (yes I know about the new contract) he was just messed about regardless of form.

Texiera who showed us glimpses last night came on against Fulham under Rodgers which took a fair bit of balls to be fair but then we didn't see him again.

Lucas, again another player who was messed about regardless of form and looked close to the exit door during the past 2 windows, I think he'll be pivotal to Klopp.

Can, he's looked decent since Klopp came in. Started like a beast under Rodgers but he's played here there and everywhere without really developing a style. Something I'm hoping we see this season.

Love Klopp at the end when we score, it's obviously when Tex back heels it, before Clyne follows up, just wish i could see his feet, looks like he's doing some skills on the touchline.
