    Rubin Kazan (A): Build Up

So it's Thursday 5th Nov is that right?

So it'll be interesting to see who Jurgen takes to Kazan.

Do we start Orgi & give Benteke a half hour if needed.

    Play Lovren & rest Sakho?

Play Milner & Allen cause we don't play them on the weekend?

    Bogdan a certain starter?

So should we go with the same side we played in the COC?
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

If we are wanting to progress in this competition we really need a win (and we certainly can't afford to lose):

    Sion............P3 W2 D1 L0 PTS 7 GD+2
    Liverpool......P3 W0 D3 L0 PTS 3 GD 0
    Rubin Kazan..P3 W0 D2 L1 PTS 2 GD-1
    Bordeaux......P3 W0 D2 L1 PTS 2 GD-1

They gave us a game at Anfield against as strong a side as we could put out and they were playing with 10 men for nearly an hour. Hopefully Klopp's methods will be more familiar to the players now but it will still be a difficult game so we will need to out a decent side
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

We should play a few young players as Palace at home will be a tough match. It's a long trip.
      Are we winning?

I reckon we go full strength. There's an international break in two weeks.

Full team, **** em!! Think it'd be good for this group to win a European away game so let's go for it. Plus we are in an absolute mess if we lose this one.

We can't lose. Need to pick a team capable of at the very least an away point.

If we want to progress in this competition, we have to go to win. If we want to progress as a club this season, we have to progress in this competition. And, if we want to win the EPL soon, we have to progress as a club this season.

I wouldn't go full strenght to be honest. Palace are likely to get something off us next Sunday if we do.....

                I would like to see:

                -------------------------------------BOGDAN------------------------------------

                RANDALL-----------TOURE------------------------LOVREN--------------CLYNE

                ---------------MILNER---------------ALLEN---------TEIXERIA-----------------

                IBE----------------------------------ORIGI---------------------------LALLANA

Milner should be okay because he didn't play against Bournemouth last week. I think that Lallana and Ibe can drop deep to make it a 5 man midfield as well.

Agree, plus there is a chance of CL qualification if we go all the way

I think that side is capable of a point, though of course we can't play Tex as he's not on the squad list. Maybe Branagan sneaks in, maybe Firmino needs more game time to get his fitness levels up.

Toure's out for a month with the hamstring isn't he?

Is it this lot who don't play games at home - if so where's it going to be?

Two draws away and a win at home might do us. Certainly can't lose anyway but its not must win yet. A draw in Kazan and a win at home to Bordeaux and we'll go to Sion knowing what we need to do to progress.

Tex isn't in the UEFA squad.
That rug really tied the room together.

I think we should line up as we did on Saturday. Play like we did at the weekend, get the win and we'll be in a very decent position going into the last two games.

We're not playing Palace until 4pm on Sunday and we're at home so that's a positive.

Beat Rubin and Palace and it would've been a pretty good ten days.
