So if we were to include all ex LFC players that would really open things up. Based on our current squad needs it could be a Striker & a winger or a CM like Mascherano. Marcus Babel for example to improve our depth for fullbacks.

We really need an out n out goal scorer right now so Suarez is the natural addition. Cover & help for Lucas comes in the shape of the Argentine maestro IMO. He can play at the back if need be too.

apart from the above cant think of any others that have gone on to have any sort of success. Shelvey at a push, the rest are championship fodder.

So based on the above it has to be Suarez and Sterling due to age as much as anything else.

Not that many tbh. Suarez is the obvious choice if he actually wanted to be here... Alonso/Mascher are other decent choices. Not sure I can think of anyone else I would think could really advance our team at this stage.

As they are now, Suarez and Alonso. Closely followed by Mascherano, then Arbeloa behind them. Probably nobody else particularly worth taking back!
