    Palace post match

Still loads to do, starting this Jan.
Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

We created chances and we didn't make the most of them. We also got in plenty of situations where the final ball wasn't up to scratch. The Palace wingers had really good games yet we mostly kept them at arms length.

That's not really a game we should've lost after getting that equaliser.

On a positive, I didn't really see a hangover from a long trip to Russia. I thought we were the better side and looked the fitter team.
    Forwards.......

Loads of possession, did very little. Too many of our players are either too ponderous or hog the ball. We need to move the ball more quicker and more decisively.

Feet back on the ground, may be good in the long term, the longer we went unbeaten the more unrealistic expectations would get. We had a long trip back on Thursday, it was bound to come into play, that's why we started so slowly.

It's still all in our hands come the second half of the season, all the big games will be at home. Hopefully by then with more work by the manager, some injured lads returning and a new signing or two we will start to kick on.

Our form at Anfield is absolutely rotten.

They took their chances, we didn't.

Plenty of chances to have won that today but far too wasteful.

Happy to see us getting into positions to create and score and we've certainly developed as a side under Klopp already.

Have to try and forget about this one and move onto the next game.

You can see the improvements we have made, but I think the squad looks a bit thin. We need Henderson and Sturridge back.

                  Ibe had a great game.

Palace gave the perfect counter attacking performance and defended well.

I have next to no confidence in us at home whereas away I fancy us against anyone. It was never gonna be plain sailing and I'm surprised it took us so long to lose a game under Jurgen. Onwards.

Back in the car for the four hour journey home... No fun when coupled with the sting of defeat!

Klopp says Sakho injury is unclear yet. " We dont want to speculate, but we have to wait for scan. Rather lose 4v1 and keep him in the team"

When Palace scored I saw many people leave. I felt very alone in this moment."
Of course we can do more. If anyone thinks we can't, they're wrong" We have to learn that we decide how strong, tired, awake we are. I decide if I am tired, nobody else!"
We defended the counter well, but a corner costs us.
I'm satisfied with some moments. But my problem is we need to play 95 minutes"
"Its not the first time I've lost a game. We opened the door for Palace with our start"
Klopp says not disappointed by fans leaving. Says players are responsible for making sure nobody leaves.
